Community produced film "Clearing The Air" from my workshop for the Ethiopian Red Cross was screened at COP16 in Cancún. Presented work at A-Lab Forum for the ARTivism installment of the series at Crossings Art Gallery, Queens, New York. Began collaborating on public interest games with PETLab at Parsons The New School for Design, funded by the MacArthur Foundation. Taught Participatory Video Production to beneficiaries of the Ethiopian Red Cross Society for the Red Cross/Red Crescent Climate Center. Completed Fulbright work with Sudden Flowers Productions in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Organized a film screening of Sudden Flowers Productions' films at St.Mary's College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Attendees included over 100 students and community members. Guest critiqued final projects of the masters students of Journalism and Communications at Addis Ababa University. Successfully crowsourced funding for a new film by Sudden Flowers Productions using Kickstarter. Curated exhibition of local photojournalism on HIV/AIDS in collaboration with Internews Ethiopia. Exhibited and lectured on Lilliput: A Photographic Travelogue at the Tbilisi Regional Interntional Festival "Life Beyond Tourism" in Tbilisi, Georgia. Led a series of four talks on Photography and Visual Literacy at Addis Ababa University's English Language Improvement Center. Taught prerequisite workshop on photography, advised students on feature story reporting, and guest lectured on photojournalism at the Masters Program of Journalism and Communications at Addis Ababa University. Ran a workshop on the Democracy Video Challenge for Ethiopian filmmakers at the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa. Arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to begin Fulbright project with Sudden Flowers Productions. Spoke on behalf of current and past history students to Eugene Lang College's Board of Directors. Completed strategy internship at Big Spaceship. Designed and ran Atlantean Adrift for the Come Out & Play Festival. Graduated from the New School University with a BA in History from Eugene Lang College and a BFA in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design.
