About
Hello. My name is Ida C. Benedetto. I am a photographer, artist and media strategist. I work with visual media and digital technology to support storytelling, collaboration and diversity.
Originally from a suburb of New York City and now based in Brooklyn, I hold a BA in History from Eugene Lang and a BFA in Design & Technology from Parsons, both colleges of The New School University. My experience includes internships at Magnum Photos, The Open Society Institute, Local Projects, and Big Spaceship. I have worked in Guatemala, India, and Ethiopia on documentary projects and community based media production. I recently completed a 10-month Fulbright grant to Ethiopia where I worked with the youth film collective Sudden Flowers Productions.
