About
I am a Brooklyn based media strategist, producer and documentarian. I work with visual media and digital technology to foster storytelling, collaboration and diversity. My creative roots lie in photography, and my current work involves games and interactive media.
I am currently a Collaborative Fellow at the documentary arts center UnionDocs, Salon Producer for the award winning political blog BagNewsNotes, Lead Documentarian and Information Architect on social interest games for PETLab, and Documentarian/Archivist for the infamous Babycastles.
My professional experience includes working for a foundation, a photo agency, two design studios, and a dozen NGOs. I have worked in Guatemala, India, and Ethiopia on documentary projects and community based media production. I recently completed a 10-month Fulbright grant to Ethiopia where I worked with the youth film collective Sudden Flowers Productions. I hold a BFA in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design and a BA in History from Eugene Lang, both colleges of The New School University.
Of all my accomplishments, few will top being voted "Most Likely to Discover Time Travel" by my junior high classmates.
